THE DEFENCE FORCE SERVICE MEDAL

The DFSM is awarded for a period of 15 years diligent service to Australia in one of the arms of the Australian Defence Forces.
Subsequent periods of 10 years are acknowledged through the issuance of a clasp denoting an additional awarding of the medal.

The Queensland Flood and Cyclone Citation  2011 is a decoration established by the Governor of Queensland in 2011 to acknowledge the efforts of personnel in responding to devastating weather events during the 2010 / 2011 storm season.

Instituted in 2004 by the government of the ACT and awarded to uniformed members of emergency response organisations, for their acts of courage and dedication to the Canberra community during the January 2003 bushfires.

THE QFRS DILIGENT AND ETHICAL SERVICE MEDAL

The QFES Diligent and Ethical Service Medal was instituted by the Commissioner, QFES to recognise members of the QFES

workforce, paid and volunteer, who distinguished themselves over a prolonged period of time (10 Years), through commitment to ethical standards, diligence and integrity.

THE INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF THE VOLUNTEER MEDAL 2001
